Paul Abrey Director and senior gas engineer

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in plumbing and heating which is an Abrey family trait spanning three generations.  Paul worked his way from his apprenticeship up through niche London based firms to national contractors before Gas Heating & Plumbing Solutions was established.  He is an expert in his field – often advising and helping other qualified gas engineers resolve their gas and plumbing issues.  Paul loves solving his customers’ issues and keeping them happy.  He’s also a keen football fan, a complete family man and dotes on his 3 young daughters.

Kelly Abrey – Managing Director

Kelly has over 20 years’ experience in commercial property management, customer service, team management and has been able to offer her management skills to several large organisations.  Kelly likes everything to be ship shape and to ensure everyone is happy whether you’re staff or a customer and is absolutely committed to the GHPS cause!

Kelly also loves quality time with her family – and overindulging in food and wine with her friends!

James Griffiths –Drainage Expert

James is our expert drainage engineer. He has 25 years experience in all aspects of drainage works from blockage clearance to large scale rehabilitation works. James has 10 years management/sales experience within the drainage industry and currently holds both OS19X and OS21 CCTV surveying qualifications. He has delivered large drainage projects for local water authorities, and construction companies alike

Aaron Cawdron – Plumber and Gas Engineer

Aaron has been plumbing since a wee boy – age 15! Aaron has worked in domestic, commercial, high end and reactive maintenance properties. He is an expert at fault finding and installations. Aaron has 2 kids, a boy and a girl who he is very passionate about. Aaron is always happy to get stuck in what ever the job and always completes to a very high standard.

Dave Harte – Plumber and Gas Engineer

Dave Dave has worked in the industry for 30 years for leading gas companies covering all areas of plumbing and heating including bathrooms, installations of boilers and full heating systems as well as servicing and breakdowns.  He has extensive training from most boiler manufacturers and is keen to make sure that he meets all of the expectations of a good gas engineer when working in someone’s home.  We have already been receiving some glowing reviews about Dave and are confident he is an asset to the team! In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family and friends

Josh Marslin – Apprentice

Josh joined us in 2019 and is currently studying for level 2 NVQ in plumbing and when he’s qualified will be looking to do his Gas Safe course. Josh is a complete gentleman, a very hard worker a fast learner and keen to get into the trade as quickly as he can.  We’re really excited to watch Josh grow into the business. In his spare time Josh can be found meeting with friends or playing football.

Alex Chivers – Customer Services Assistant

Alex has a background in construction and recruitment. Alex is one of our newest members of the team supporting Kelly in the office to ensure customer service is being delivered to the highest possible standard.Alex loves building relationships with the customers to give her a break from her busy family life.In her spare time Alex loves to rummage around in car boot sales and charity shops to find a bobby dazzler.

Rochelle Jones – Administration Assistant

Rochelle has over 15 years customer service / administration experience. Rochelle has a background in all areas of admin and enjoys getting stuck in with everything and anything. She will be working in the office alongside Kelly and Alex. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her little family and friends…and loves a gin tipple 😊

Lucy Ford – Administrator

Lucy has been with us since 2019 helping out part time with the office admin and whatever we decide to throw at her!  She’s great at problem solving and loves getting stuck in with the book keeper.  Having just finished 6th form, Lucy is at university studying criminology.  In her spare time, you will mostly find Lucy in the Slug and Lettuce sipping 2-4-1 cocktails.
